AC Milan And Napoli Ready To Compete For Amine Haritstadium | June 11, 2021 | 0 | NEWS
Two Serie A giants, AC Milan and Napoli are reportedly ready to compete to be able to bring Schalke 04’s mainstay attacking midfielder, Amine Harit, whose selling price will drop because his club has just been relegated.
The fierce competition in Serie A between the top clubs in the hunt for the top four positions last season, looks set to widen into a battle in the transfer market, as will reportedly happen with AC Milan and Napoli. The two traditional Italian teams had indeed dueled until the last game of last season to determine a quota for the Champions League and now they will be involved in the hunt for a player again.
According to Footmercato, the figure who is reportedly being contested between Milan and Napoli is the attacking midfielder for the Moroccan national team who plays for Schalke 04, Amine Harit. The condition of the player’s club, which had just been relegated, meant that the opportunity to be allowed to leave was wide open and it seemed that the two Italian giants were trying to take advantage of the situation.
Milan itself is indeed looking for an attacking midfielder for next season, either as a replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu or as a coating for the Turkish player. The name Harit itself is quite suitable for Stefano Pioli’s squad because tactically, he can fill the position as an attacking midfielder in the middle or play on both sides of the wing.
The ability to fill more than one position seems to be an important factor for the Rossoneri to try to get the player. In terms of age and finances, Harit is also considered to be still in the profile that is focused on the Red and Black squad, which are talented young players at a price that is not too expensive, of course.
Meanwhile, Napoli also seems to want to bring Harit because they see the potential of the player and the situation that is quite possible to bring him. If Schalke are not relegated, it will certainly be difficult to bring in the player at a price that is not too expensive, especially since the young midfielder’s contract with his current club is still valid until 2024.
Schalke itself reportedly will only ask for a transfer fee of 1 million Pounds Sterling for their talent. Apart from Milan and Napoli, Spanish club Villarreal are also said to be very interested in bringing Harit.
Liverpool Are Also Monitoring Amine Harit
Liverpool are keeping an eye on a talented Moroccan player at Schalke 04, Amine Harit.
The Moroccan midfielder is currently on the rise under the tutelage of David Wagner – the former Huddersfield Town coach who is also a close friend of Klopp.
According to the Corriere dello Sport reported by TBRFootball, the Reds are currently continuously ‘studying’ on talented players and their value has recently risen to around 20 million Euros.
Amine Harit is relatively new, even only coming to Schalke in 2017 from French club Nantes. However, Harit has scored five goals and provided four assists in his 13 appearances for the Gelsenkirchen club.
Harit managed to turn his fortunes around after being involved in a fatal car accident last summer, which contributed to a bad season for the German team. Now, he has returned to show his talent, and has received special attention from Liverpool.
The fact that Klopp and Wagner are very close is also not to be underestimated in this regard. Wagner will finally make the most of Harit, and he will surely find it difficult to leave his new coach who was quite influential in his career in Germany.
But if the choice was to work alongside Klopp, no doubt Harit would be more welcoming to the idea, and the Reds could sign such an impressive talent.
Schalke 04 signed Harit on 10 July 2017, and signed him for four years. His reported transfer fee to Nantes of 8 million euros could be increased to 10 million euros with the addition of a number of bonuses.
